NFL Odds Makers are picking ALL HOME TEAMS TO LOSE!!!
Anyone seeing any of the early lines yet? It looks like the odds are favoring all visiting teams for Wild Card weekend!!

Looks like betting the house on Matty Ice and the Falcons is the smart move right now. That line is gonna move quite a bit I think as the game gets closer.

Atlanta will win the superbowl, because the NFL is rigged. ATL will win because they lost a large piece of their market-share due to Mike Vick. So they NFL decided in order to save the team, the at least have to be the Division champs.
I told all my friends this 10 months ago ....They are gonna flip when i end up being right. NFL IS RIGGED! Go ahead & toss me the tin foil hat.....i called the patriots winning 2 days after 9/11....my record is 100% so far. |
I got all road teams winning except the chargers! :thumbsup

You REALLY think the Chargers are going to beat the Colts? I, personally, think that the Colts are the most dangerous team in football right now....yes, even more than my beloved Falcons. --T |
go philly!

The only one that I think is wrong is Arizona, they should be favored by 1 or it should be a pick em. |

i wasnt impressed with the Colts against the Lions !!!! |
Those lines seem right to me although I think the ATL line is going to move up so if you're on the Falcons get on it now.
No way ARI can play with ATL, ARI sucks on DEF and will get eaten alive by the running game of the Falcons... Colts should be slight favourite although if it goes up to -3.5 by chance then I would be all over the Chargers. I expect PHI and BAL to have no problems winning there games though.. -Scott |

One of the first rules of book betting is to take the home underdogs...

The NFL lets shitty teams in the playoffs now (last 6 years) because there are 4 divisions in each conference instead of just 3. It not only makes it more likely for shitty teams to get in the playoffs but they are more likely to host a game too.

Home teams did well today. We'll see about tomorrow.
|
LOL LT is so consistent in the playoffs. We can always expect him on the sidelines.

8-8 teams should NOT be in the playoffs

while watching the game, I did think they were going to win, there were a few questionable calls. I thought they was going to 'win' this game, not the superbowl...:1orglaugh that's a little out there |

Check out what Freakonomics says about home underdogs.

Bottom Line: Falcons played poorly, made a ton of mistakes, and didn't take advantage of the opportunities when they arose. The Cardinals KICKED OUR ASS on the line of scrimmage and I have always believed that one stat will dictate the outcome of most games. Congrats to Cardinal fans on the win....if you guys can keep showing up to support your team the way that you did in Glendale yesterday you can build a storied franchise. I was always told that Arizona was not a football state and that the stadium would be quiet but those people did not witness what I witnessed yesterday. You guys should be proud of your team.
As for the Chargers....what can I say? You deserved that win. I was only able to get to a TV from the middle of the 3rd but it looked like you guys gave the Colts everything they could handle and then some. Keep playing like that and you will go REALLY deep into the playoffs....maybe even all the way. --T |
