i have been asking around to find a maid to come and clean my apartment every two weeks, but have had NO SUCCESS at all... wtf? anyone of my friends who has a maid does not live downtown and so their woman will not venture down here... god dammit! it's really starting to annoy me...

so my place hasn't been dusted properly since i went to Miami Internext in mid-august... i do however clean my bathroom every week and do laundry, but is it right that a stunt cock should have to stoop to such a level?

We tried having someone come once every two weeks, and it wasn't enough...so we changed it to once a week, and that was choice! We found ours by asking around and finally found some friends who recommended someone. That's the only way to go (unless you move to Mexico) -- I wouldn't trust someone coming from a 'maid service' type of biz.

Now that we've moved we've got to find someone again, so I'm going to put a post up on the bulletin board at our local coffee/esspresso hang out, and then ask for references, etc.

The point being, though: after having had someone come in and clean (and we paid good, at $20 an hour), I won't go back to trying to run my biz AND keep the fucking house in order (plus it's cut down on fights between me and my boyfriend by about 80%, cause that's what we usually clashed about -- the dirty house). So, go for it!:thumbsup

We found ours through a friend. She comes in every 2 weeks and only cleans our main floor. As far as I am concerned, my kids can keep their own rooms upstairs clean, and I don't want the maid in my basement, where my offices and home theater are... :Graucho

I never thought we'd need a maid until I got one. Now I have no idea how we ever did without. We have two Costa Ricans who come 3 times a week and life is good.

She costs about $250 bucks a month and works 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. :) I give her Sundays. I am not that cold hearted.

Just the way shit is where I live, so it works out.

I would suggest you place an ad in the paper, and up the price or find one of those cleaning places or even a job placement office.
