just noticed the altavista redesign
 

Uhm, maybe this is so old .. but I just noticed that <a href="http://altavista.com">altavista.com</a> has redesigned their page. Looks pretty slick, maybe they're aiming for a comeback in our now so googlecentered world.

They claim that 50% of their searchresults are refreshed Each day .. wonder how true that is. IMHO they should separate the paid listings abit from the actual results, not its almost not possible to tell the difference. Trying to "fool" users cant be a good bizstrategy for a big SE? ;)

They did it on tuesday to try and copy google and try to make a profit, since the only search engine I know of that has constantly making $$$ is google. Surprising, eh?
