Tube sites now letting you embed
So they not only give away stolen shit, now they distribute the stolen shit to webmasters to use. They are hoping some surfers will double click on the video and bring more traffic back to them.
Does this make the webmasters using some of this content also liable? Because we all know that Youtube has millions of videos that are copywrited...and I notice the embeds all over the internet. It is so fucking tempting to use these videos, but it totally makes a screwed up business model. You will get the traffic but not many sales...I go through this with my Japanese niche websites...malaysian and singapore traffic never converts. |
I've been noticing that too.

I have noticed this with a few of my clients. They use only redtube video emebeds. I think it's time I put a hand in and stop support for those webmasters that use them.
Time to play by the rules or your out! |

Let 'em. Anyone with a high traffic site can embed their vids invisibly (width/height = 0 or 1, iframes etc..)and waste their bandwidth. Hit 'em where it hurts - the wallet.

nothing new really....

stickyfingerz, so what your saying is your quite happy to sit there and support the thieves that steal content from everyone else in the adult industry? That's pretty sad mate.
I never said you can't use my script for what you want, I said I will not support you if you do. You may never need support. Bandwidth is super cheap, if you think it's going to burn a hole in their pocker then your not thinking straight. They want their "NAME" out there, they don't give a shit about bandwidth. It's the NAME "redtube" and "full length videos" that they want people to know about. It's not just redtube either, we all know there is lots of these sites. If I really wanted to stop this I would just add a filter on when adding videos, so it would filter out "redtube.com" or the other domains. But im not that evil. |
Why not use your programing to help make software to fight content theft instead of making tube scripts if you are so worried about it. I did that on my own, came up with the concept, spent my own money to have it developed etc, and am using it and my content cannot be stolen. I keep MY content my content. Other people dont' give a shit and let their members download whatever they want which ends up on the tube sites. The way to stop it, is to not allow people to download.
