Yeah, handy as hell...

It's nice simply because if I want to buy content, etc out of my paypal account and they don't take paypal.. it's done (it's a mastercard).. plus if you run it though as credit, they'll give you like 1% cash back about 30 seconds after the charge :D

Pretty slick, all in all... although I don't keep money in paypal anymore, so it's becoming less and less useful.

From what I read in the terms and conditions they sometimes accept international. I just applied for one and Im in Canada.

Very useful business tool especially if you have funds running into your Paypal account regularly... Transactions are viewable immediately... very cool.

I applied for one, but got denied becuase of insufficient account activity. I have been with PayPal for 3 months now, and have bought or received money for 30 to 40 items. I guess ill wait a little longer and re-apply. Just FYI! Good luck, but I wouldent keep to much money in PayPal there are many horror stories of how they lock accounts, etc. Just check out....

Yes, I have one and so far it is awesome. However, somebody directed me to www.paypalsucks.com so I am a little spooked, but think it will be ok as long as I don't dick anyone over and get my account locked up.

Unfortunatly that's a little like saying "I won't get chargebacks if I don't dick anyone over" lol...

Best solution I found is to keep very low dollar amounts in your paypal account (i.e. < $1k). If you need to make a larger purchase and they only accept paypal, you might want to rethink your purchase anyway.

Received mine a few weeks ago ( I am in Canada). Handy....

I am in Canada as well and I've had mine for a few months now.
You get 1.5% cash back which is cool, except that they freeze up my card every two or three transactions because they're "suspicious"

I use it a lot as well, very handy for sites that dont accept paypal.

only took a few hours to approve it.

I love mine. Easy to use. Just don't use them to get cash from ATM's Very high fees.

What you mean paypal debit card? Where on the site do you get one. Is it an actual physical debit card that they send you? Do you have to live in the US to get one?

Login to your account, its on the left nav bar. You dont have to be in the US to get one, Im from Canada.

Ya, and I LOVE it!!! Works wonders since that's where all our money that we make online is deposited :-) Also works great if you need to wire money to an employee who is also using PayPal :thumbsup

I use my paypal debit card for basically ALL my online shopping, and if I get too much money in there, I just start tapping mac...I use it basically for everything since I never transfer the money into my bank account. We generally only run about 3k a month through paypal, everything else goes through the regular merchant account.

Unlike a lot of people I have never had a horror story in my 2 years of having paypal, so I don't have a problem keeping around 1,000 in there at most times, but I usually get girlie and buy myself something =) so there is not usually more than that in there.

TGF it's not for Europe....first they spammed me 3 times to apply
for one.....then when I looked at it.....it wasn't for European
customers....
