Anyway to use iPhone as modem for MBP?
 

Heading into the mountains and I would love to use the MBP - is there anyway to use a non-jailbroken iPhone 3G as a modem to connect the MBP?

non-jailbroken? think they killed that app netshare and all similar. just jailbreak it, well worth it :) then iphonemodem.

right - I found the netshare history. Bloody disgusting, they didn't break the appstore rules etc etc. It was on, then of, then on, then off :mad:

But looks like nothing at all possible - welcome iPhone 3G to another thing it can't do that it's peers have been able to do for the last 10 yrs. Well, it *can* do it, it's just been crippled to prevent it.
