People wear your fucking seat belts
 

I found out today that I friend of mine I knew since I was about 8 years old was killed in a car crash yesterday. He was ejected out of his truck after he lost control and hit a telephone pole. He most likely would have lived if he was wearing a seat belt.

Now two young daughters and wife get to remember Christmas as the day their father/husband died because he wasn't wearing his seat belt.

My brother was driving up in New York state on a major local road at a considerable rate of speed and got t-boned by an elderly driver coming out of a side street last week and went up on two wheels nearly flipping over. By the time it landed square on the wheels and he got his bearings he had just enough time to slam the brakes before he went through a fence and hit a large tree. If he wasn't wearing his seat belt he would have been jostled violently inside the car and never would have been able to control the car and stop in time. And may very well have died from the impact or from hitting the tree. His Corolla was totaled but luckily he was only badly bruised.

Yep. as much of a pain in the ass as they are,. they saves lives most of the time.
