Which itunes replacement software for ipod nano?

I dont want to install itunes software on my pc. I currently use winamp to add songs to my ipod, but its too cumbersome..

Is there a simpler itunes replacement software where I can just use an explorer type interface to add and remove songs from ipod?

iTunes sucks. Huge bloated program that cannot even monitor changes in your library.
My vote is for mediamonkey, although I haven't tried songbird.
