Say a young man like myself decided to get into the Live Cam business streaming as a model. I know girls as customers do pay, but not as much or often as guys pay for girls and guys pay for guys (from what I understand).

Assuming I can do the following:

• Get a decent webcam / video camera
• Work the same steady hours
• Appeal to every possible niche within my body type and sexual limitations (I realize guys would be looking at me, oh well, money right?).
• Perform without limitations.
• Speak well and have good customer service.

Would I make it as a dude in the live cam business or at least build up a reputation and then possibly do well?

I've been to free chat rooms trying to find girls to mess with on cam in the past, and to my amazement (and disgust at the same time) have found lots of guys masturbating to my cock (which kinda creeped me out but at the same time made me wonder if I could actually make a decent amount of money by doing so.).

My wife used to make big bucks on ifriends back in the late 90's early 2000's (i'd join in sometimes when they requested it).. but I don't think ifriends is what it was..

In the begining she was clearing 2k+ a week just doing about 25-30 hours, by the time she gave up it was difficult to make 800 (I think because of the number of people doing live vid went through the roof towards the end and ifriends also had alot of changes that benefited them but not the hosts).. I work full time in the automotive industry, I blog in my spare time for others and I do my own shit on the side. Streaming live cams would be an additional source of income and I think I might have some fun doing it. I enjoy diversifying myself in the work I do in life, keeps things fun, original and productive (as long as your schedule is laid out well).

I'll keep people posted on how it goes.

I'd say if it doesn't cost you major overhead then give it a try.

This is just a thought and maybe you have already considered this. Realistically, you have to go into this assuming that someone you know will find out. If you don't care, no big deal. But if you have friends/family that will cause drama because you are jerking off on a gay webcam site, just keep that in mind before getting to into it. Maybe they won't find you, but the odds are, if you do it long enough, someone who knows you will see it and word will get back to your family/friends so if doing this could cause chaos there, you might want to think about it again.
