For those who live in Phoenix!!

Get out to a Phoenix Coyotes game now! Buy yourself season tickets!

You've got a good team there, in an excellent facility (Jobing Arena) and your head coach just happens to be the greatest hockey player to ever lace up a pair of skates!

I think it would be sad to see the Coyotes leave Phoenix.

Support your team! :thumbsup

I love hitting the hockey games, we will be attending a few I'm sure.
Go Coyotes!

I refuse to call it Jobing.com Arena... it will always be Glendale Arena

Evil Chris 12-23-2008 09:37 PM

Each time I attend the Phoenix Forum, I see a Coyotes game if there is a home game.

It's worked out for me the past two years. What a shame if they left Phoenix.

After many years of debate and thought, I have little doubt now that Mario Lemieux is in fact "the greatest hockey player to ever lace up a pair of skates."

But, as a pathetic Leafs fan, you certainly can't be expected to know greatness. So you're forgiven for your ignorance.

What about Orr? :(

The drive out to Glendale from the east valley is a pain in the ass.

Wow...never would have expected this on GFY.

I just caught a game this weekend. I think it was blanket day. Coyotes v Columbus, it was pretty bare though. Our box was full but the arena was probably 1/3 full at the most.

Not really, the arena is right off the freeway. From your place it takes a half an hour or so on a game night.

It takes longer than a half an hour on any given day. On games days it is a nightmare.

watching hockey on TV can't compare to watching hockey live from a good seat - even non-hockey fans will tell you that they had a good time if they catch a game live in the arena.

Gotta agree there. I just went to my first Leafs game couple weeks ago and had some decent seats behind the net and it was an awesome night, definitely doesn't compare to watching it on TV at home.

Phoenix is not a sports city. period.

Too many transplants from other areas of the country, snowbirds, and aliens (people rom this place called California) make for a valley full of of enthusiasts for "other" teams. It's quite sad actually :(

but in all honesty, I wish hockey would move back to Canada where it belongs

jay23 12-25-2008 01:54 AM

My view is that hocky belongs to city where in snows, nothing like sub zero temp and a molson on hand.
