My 4 year old daughter said she is not a princess anymore just a Rock Star.

Damn Hanna Montana .

It's kind of sad to see your little baby grow up. :(

MetaMan 12-23-2008 11:41 AM

it is kind of sad to see the kind of parenting today that allows a child to idolize a media developed icon.

Yeah, none of us grew up idolizing, Evel Kneival, Wonder Woman, The 6 million dollar man, Boba Fett, Gi Joe or any of the other age old kid fan businesses.

Its the same old shit, just a different person.

Personally, id prefer my daughter be hung up on Hannah Montana then David Cassidy or Mike Seaver (whatever his name was).

I'd prefer a young upstart rockstar daughter to a princess... I don't want to be paying those bills forever... at least rockstars pretend to work.

the fact that you prefer a 4 year old to be hung up on anything other than sesame street and imagination shows your flawed logic.

it is a sad world when we raise our daughters like the lesser of two evils is a better thing.

and then when they grow up with low morals and only care about the newest product we look around for blame.

Why would you think that because a young woman admires a successful, wholesome (Disney works hard at this one) and beautiful young star that they will be immoral and bad people?

TisMe 12-23-2008 11:56 AM

wtfent, it gets worse from here... just wait til she announces she's a woman!

Come on now, get over yourself, just because I responded to you (as you did to me) does not mean I care what you say, nor does it mean I take offense to it.

It means I responded to you.

Wild concept isn't it.

a 4 year old is a young woman now? i guess i missed the memo, let me guess you are the guy who thought "baby stilettos" were a cute idea?

i dont expect anything less from here, half the guys here think its ok to have a 22 year old girl pose with teddy bears.

Triple10Terry 12-23-2008 11:58 AM
