Anybody using Google Chrome?

I'm installing it right now, might be a good alternative.

Kudles 12-22-2008 02:28 PM

I thought about it

Calico Jack 12-22-2008 02:30 PM

Going to give it a try in the new year.

WeirdHomer 12-23-2008 09:28 AM

Using it for a day now and so far everything seems ok, i like it. It's very straight forward and safe, i've tested it against IE7.

kektex 12-23-2008 09:35 AM

I am an Opera user myself, but if you use Chrome, check out SRWare Iron
http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron.php

Chrome without the privacy issues.

stickyfingerz 12-23-2008 09:38 AM

Been using it for months. I love it. :thumbsup

nolongerexists 12-23-2008 09:39 AM

I would if it have worked correctly on dual display setup (with different resolutions)

Si 12-23-2008 09:40 AM

I tried it but went back to firefox

quantum-x 12-23-2008 09:57 AM

Love it.
Fast, minimal, and runs multiple processes opposed to multiple threads - so if one window crashes, the rest keep working.

Running on 3 monitors here.

seeandsee 12-23-2008 10:12 AM

i don't use it, ff is my choice

munki 12-23-2008 10:14 AM

I've been playing with it here and there... but I'm a creature of comfort and my firefox is home.

skrinkladoo 12-23-2008 10:18 AM

been using it for a few months. Minor quirks - better than IE universally, not as good as firefox (regarding development).

jimbowski 12-23-2008 10:28 AM

I love it!!

TheKandybar 12-23-2008 10:37 AM

I use it at home on my laptop and it works like magic. It's seamless.

Brad 12-23-2008 10:47 AM

it's good. but lacks the extensions and therefore FF3 is better.

Odin 12-23-2008 10:52 AM

Proper bookmarks menu, ability to get rid of that annoying new tabs page and I'd have seriously considered it and more than likely be using it. Instead I am on firefox.

bobby666 12-23-2008 11:53 AM

i hate that shit

DutchTeenCash 12-23-2008 11:57 AM

first edition had some flaws used it day 1 nice fast but crashy

How are you having issues with that? Works find dual monitor for me.

HorseShit 12-23-2008 12:02 PM

installing

Iscari0t 12-23-2008 12:13 PM

Using it now. Agreed on the lack of plugins at the moment, but that'll come. Fast and clean so far, no major rendering issues on sites that are remotely close to standard coding. I like it a lot, and the stealth window thing, while a gimmick, is pretty neat.

scouser 12-23-2008 12:15 PM

its ok. will be better with extensions like firefox has

stickyfingerz 12-23-2008 12:16 PM

Best thing is that you can pull tabs out, and put them back. Hugely handy for me at times.

Iron Fist 12-23-2008 12:17 PM

Tried it... it sucked harshly.... until it had Adblock in it, nevermind, i'll stay with FF.

Max - RiotDesign 12-23-2008 12:28 PM

Is it out for mac yet?

NextBigTube 12-23-2008 12:57 PM

I like it so far. One annoyance (I am sure that will get fixed soon) is that it kind of "freezes" when an alert popup is displayed.) The pop up doesn't show up for a long time and you can't do anything else till it does and you click it off.

Anyone else seen this happen?

chelo - adultcopywriters 12-23-2008 01:15 PM

I liked it, but I'm still addicted to FF
