is Chameleon better than Advanced Submitter?
It's been 5 years since i've submitted. Advanced Submitter was awesome. But i see more posts about Chameleon now that im looking into it again.
What's the low down? Is Advanced Submitter still just as good? Thanks. |
I vote for Chameleon, it's easy software with fresh database and it's our sponsor :)
Over 1700 TGP & MGP sites ready to submit! Fast Auto and Manual submit with auto fill forms! Recognition and automatic filling of several code types FTP upload tool! Customizable database (Add/Delete/Edit TGPs/MGPs) Powerful automatic image cropping tool! CS now offers a selection of 239 categories! Ranking of sites! Automatic submit of all sample thumbnail sizes! History of submitted galleries Daily TGP and MGP database update! |
Is submitting even worth it anymore?
|
I've always used Chameleon Submitter :thumbsup

If you can get a good amount of partner accounts and have nice gallery designs... can any money be made any more? i have a tiny goal of only 2 sales per day. Thanks |

keep in mind the goal of the TGP webmaster is to make money too, so if his sales are slipping on his/her own galleries, they will start to charge for submission passes or partner accounts to try and make up for that, so factor that cost into your submit model as well. finally, keep in mind that a lot of surfers are finding there is tons of free content out their (tube sites to torrent sites) so that will also influence your outcome. IMO, if you are going to start submitting, you better have some really unique galleries (not fancy or flashly, but unique) and find a good niche you are familiar with to push. I dont mean a niche like "mature" but maybe "fat mature anal" galleries. good luck :thumbsup |
Cool thanks for the advice. Sounds like if i do it right i can still squeeze a sale or 2 a day out of it. Thats all im really after... looks like the days of 25 sales a day are long gone! hehe.

then id spend a few bucks and get some basic galleries done. I use Arylia Gallery Builder to pop out a ton of galleries quick and works great for video and image galleries. In all, plan on spending probably about 2 to 3 hours a day and have some money to invest and you should be able to make it back quickly. Id hold off on buying submit passes until you see what happens with Partner Account Requester because you might bet 2-3 sales a day just from that. |

Yep its better, but youre still running on the profit margins.

Hey there,
Ive used both and I think Chameleon is a bit better IMO Try the LL submitter too and you'll be sure to get the 2 sales per day. Hit me up ICQ man its been a while :) |

Anyone know any good thumb making software for Mac OS X? Something where i can just tell an app where my thumbs are for a gallery and have it spit out a thumbed html page i can drop into my gallery templates? I do not want to use the photoshop gallery thing. |
Both are dandy, I prefer CS.
However, that said, in the end it will come down to... 1. Niche. 2. Consistency. 3. Your DB (i.e. not just relying on theirs. research and add in your own) 4. How you maximize your gallery submits. ..... REGARDLESS of what program you use. |
Who is good to host with these days for galleries? When i last hosted, a 30mbps server was like $4k, now it seems bandwidth is cheaper than fun dip packets.
webair pretty reliable? |
It's completely worth it, you might see 1 or 2 sales per month if you're pushing a lot of different sites, I mean you can live off $60 a month right?

you just make an easy gallery and you can upload zip files or a directory and will cut it out for you... basically doing everything you need to do for a gallery in less tahn 2 minutes. |

If you have your own accounts and database, go with Advanced. If you need a quick and updated database go with Chameleon.
