Ever have a song that is handed to you? That comes from apparently no where like you are just a tool to write down the lyrics? I get one of these every few years.

Well someone somewhere just phoned through me what I think is going to be a hit. Why does this always happen at 3 am? I write a song in less time than it takes to sing it twice.

Whatever managed to come through me from wherever it did, thank you. Fuck now I won't be able to sleep, and probably record first rough demo bah..

Thanks, rough demo recorded. Probably best thing I've wrote in at least 8 years. Im fuckin excited. lol :upsidedow This sucker will be at the publishing office by Jan 4th in full demo. Im motivated with this one lol

Joking aside, good luck. I know the guy who wrote that tune and he hasn't worked a day in his life since he released it.

The opportunity I have right now due to the karma I am receiving back from being extremely generous to some of my old good friends is coming back now 10 fold. That old friend I had faith in, and helped get where he needed to be, and put a roof over his head for 2.5 years without blinking is now paying off in spades. My friends good fortune is also my good fortune, and his hard work over the last 10 years is paying off, and he is making good on every promise he ever made me.

Lets put it this way he is the top writer at an up and coming publishing company, and he has 15 cuts coming out in the next 2 to 3 months quite a few on major artists albums, and at least 3 are already being pinned as singles that will be released. He works no other job now, and ONLY writes for a living. Im so glad I had the faith in him that I did, because he has that same faith in me, and has reached his hand out to include me, and pull me back into what I've always dreamed of doing, but got sidetracked by life.

This all feels so incredibly right again, like it felt when I first moved to Nashville almost 10 years ago and I pounded the pavements with my bio and demo's in hand. I haven't been able to write like I did back then, and now its like someone flipped a switch in my head again, and everything is click click clicking. :upsidedow Ok 4am here I REALLY need to sleep, alarm will be going off in 1 hour 42 mins lol doh, not that I HAVE to get up, Ill prob sleep to 9:30 today lol Night all.
