i remember seeing her give a speach at toronto trek when i was a kid

really cool lady.
smart and funny as hell.

I knew there had to be trekkies on gfy.

she was also the executive producer of earth final conflict/ andromeda etc.

momma and poppa were laying in bed, momma rolled over this is what she said, give me some, give me some PT,PT, good for you , good for me.

I didn't remembered her at the beginning, but know I know this lady. May she RIP!

The original "Number One" and Nurse Chapel on the original series as well. Also that great voice of all the various Star Trek computers. RIP

ok i knew about the nurse chapel but what are you talking about with the number one reference
i thought "number one" was st:NG thing only.
and the closest thing to a number 1 in the original series was spock.

PS. not really a star trek fan so could be completely wrong about these points, i saw her after her appearance on B5.

:) Actually in the pilot (parts of which are featured in the 2 part episode "The Menagerie"), Majel is Captain Pikes "number one" and he refers to her as such.

She was a really awesome lady, so sad to hear she has passed

was it aired on tv as the pilot or was this "lost" pilot thing
ala (birds of prey, etc)
