Any Suggestions? Server Folder Turning Into A File
 

I logged into my server today (via Cute FTP 8 Home) so that I could update my site for the week and the main folder where I upload my content to has been turned into a file. I tried changing the permissions but that doesn't seem to work. The site is online and everything seems to be fine other than the fact that I cannot upload anything being that the folder is a file.

The hosting company has looked into the issue but there doesn't seem to be a problem on their end. I have not changed any settings in my FTP client either so I am pretty clueless as to what is going on. Any suggestions on how I can correct this?

Looks like the problem has been solved. Funny though because I have not touched anything and just logged in to find everything ok. Very strange. Would still be interested to know how this happened in the first place so if anyone has any ideas, would love to hear them. I am just glad that the folder is now a folder instead of a file. Time to get working on the update.....:thumbsup
