I always wondered if there is a tool that doesn't end up lowering the quality too much after watermarking (re-encoding)

Shit.... see I tried the free trail and it had lowered the bitrate so much the video when from crystal clear to muddy bullshit... I wanted to find out if that was just the free version and the paid gave you better rates or not...

Looks like nice software

Yeah sounds typical, just comes with the encoding territory. Best is to watermark while encoding

www.videocharge.com is decent, either the studio or the watermark program, i just use the wizard though

I always send my original AVI's through Cleaner. It spits them out in any and all formats i want and ads the watermark automatically. No need to mark your original files or lose quality on a re-encode. :2 cents:

Cool I'll check that out too

Is that Rivers software?

Which Cleaner are you using Aaron, thanks, that sounds like exactly what I'm looking for, will it do batches?

I've used premiere in the past for watermarking while encoding..no problems at all..

RyuLion 12-18-2008 02:22 PM

Why are you still doing your own grunge work? -btw

Because I'm the only one I trust.. lol.. yeah I use Vegas but doing all that by hand will be a pain in the asssssss

No. It used to be made by a company called Discreet but is now sold by Autodesk.

And yes, it runs batches as well.
