What are the standard cookie settings of IE6:
Accept or block 3rd party cookies?

on default settings mine says accept first-party cookies and accept third-party cookies

Ermm a bit harsh no? Why dont you go to Tools-->Internet Options--> Privacy--> Reset To Default (or whatever the wording may be).

it should accept 3rd party cookies from p3p compliant servers. sorry, don't have a link handy.
