Seeking partner on renewable energy mainstream company

Here's the skinny:

This is a renewable energy concept. I have top 10 listings for the terms, and some traffic already. The site is up and I have custom coded the back end. I already have "leads" in the system, so I know the idea is working even before it has been completed. The site has even made money before it has even launched.

I need a partner with ideas and know-how in renewable energy (solar, wind, bio-fuel etc) and the ability to invest time and money.

I realize the odds of finding someone here are slim for something like this, but I am sure the Evans and SC Mike's of the world are interested in stuff like this. I have a proposal in progress and will require an NDA to discuss the project.

If you are interested please contact me: [email protected] so we can discuss this more.

Thank you.

Algae into Diesel is a long way out. The company I read about hasn't even produced enough to fill a test-tube.

However, Sugarcane into Petroleum via e-coli bacteria is going into commercial production in 2010.

I have a sincere interest in alternative energy and have for quite some time; I'd need more details, though.

My uncle is actually working with the university of Florida on their algae oil program. They are using one of his properties to do the research on.

New niche -- fucking on windmills, blow-jobs on solar panels!

That'll spark some interest :)

From what I understand there was a government subsidy program setup in the 70's due to the oil embargo to start this algae thing.. but as soon as oil prices went back to normal the program was cut.

The low price of oil (again) threatens all these companies who are trying to reduce the dependance on oil. Its unfortunate.

ya this is quite true, it amazing how quickly people will forget the highs of energy prices and think the worst is over. it'll be interesting to see how picken's plan works out he is a very smart individual but it will take a lot of people to rally behind his ideas. the problem is people have a tendency to plan around the short term and not look beyond what is convenient at the time.

i really dont see how the supply and demand imbalance will work itself out in the next 5-10 years when companies are cutting back operations again now with relatively low energy costs. it is only a matter of time before energy demands resume when the world economy come out of this recession.
