SiriusXM good gift this holiday season?

I realize that SiriusXM is struggling financially but I think they will pull through and be a strong company going forward. I personally feel it is a great product for a mere $13/month. The gift I am thinking about getting someone will have several months of service with it. Do you like SiriusXM? Do you also have it? If you do not would YOU be happy getting it as a gift this season??

I think that Sirius is a great item to have. I myself have it in 2 of my vehicles and listen to it all the time. It's nice not having piles of commercials, plus there's great variety, from any music style you like, to comedy, sports (all the nfl games kicks ass), Howard, and lots of other various channels.

I think that it'd be a great gift to give to someone with a few months thrown in with it. At first they might not appreciate it until they actually use it and fall in love with it, ha ha.

I initially received Sirius from my girlfriend about two years back, and she paid for a full year of service. It is was and still is one of the best gifts I have ever received. It's like going from having basic cable with three channels to Dish network and no commercials. Since then, I have given it to others as gifts too!

I agree guys. I got mine almost 3 years ago and have not looked back. I think there is a ton of content for $13/month and the person I purchased it for will have years of enjoyment from it. Mine is mounted in my car but I use my online account that comes with it on a special Sirius player on my computer.

3 years ago my brother got it for Christmas for his inlaws and never used it. He ended up giving it to me and I paid to have it activated. It has rocked. Best $13 a month I have ever spent. They have a ton of different types of music without commercials and I am a big Howard Stern fan and they replay his show all day so you can listen whenever you want (I'm never up at 6am unless it is because I am still up from the night before :) )

I think the merge is a good thing. I gave the gift of XM.

yep, it is good

listen to the Jason Ellis show on Faction all the time, and Stern is good when Ellis or Bam Margera aren't on :2 cents:

heck, get the service and some stock. Think sirius/xm is trading at .25/share. have sirius and like it.

#1 I wouldn't drive w/o it
#2. I can't imagine getting through the work day w/o Howard & Bubba
#3. I find tons of new bands via the awesome commercial free programming & the nice features that let you save song names, etc

so yes, awesome gift for a guy, but girls not so romantic...
