http://www.playerauctions.com is one of the best places to find gold sellers. You can look at feedback from actual customers much like EBAY and decide if a seller is legit. You can buy accounts, instance runs, item loot rights, etc... as well.

All people I have know that tried glider always ended up with their account DELETED. And I played hardcore for almost 3 years

It is a risk, but most people I've known getting popped with it we're getting heavily overzealous...

Set good paths, don't go nuts with it, can be quite the help. Especially leveling through the 20-40s... that grind time can suck some ass.

I'll rather buy 40k gold and don't worry about getting banned.
