I've told affiliate progs when I've been over-paid by $10K+ so yep I'd probably give it back. You never know how much the owners might need that money - could be life and death for them, who knows. -

One wallet was found in the bank parking lot and had almost $900 hundred dollars in it. That woman actually had me drive to her place to return it which I found a bit ungrateful and would have appreciated at least $20 for the effort. But, I felt good doing the right thing.
Now, if I had found a bag full of money with no contact info. I would have kept it for sure.Comment

Ya same here, I've returned a lot of wallets and credit cards. Had a guy rushing in front of me on the way to Costa Rica this year and saw him drop his credit card. I scooped it up and had to run to catch him as he was trying to make a flight. Would of been pretty easy to use that sucker in Costa to have a few nice dinners or something as I never had my ID checked down there even once the last 2 times I've been there lol.
