Yep dogs do that. I remeber as a kid my dog eatting a big turd that this kid my mother was baby sitting dropped on the floor of our basement. We laughed our asses off.

OMG my dogs broke into diaper hamper and left a trail of poopie diapers all over the house once. Fortunately that was when I was switching from cloth (diaper service) to disposables so the trash was easier to lock up.

Pig ears actually have far more bacteria than baby poop and has been linked to salmonella outbreaks. Get him some chlorophyll treats and he'll be good to go.

look it up. The bacteria in dogs mouths arent harmfull to humans, bacteria in human mouths can be very dangerous to humans.

you are kinda both right. There is plenty of bacteria in dogs mouths, probably the same amount as in human mouths. BUT dog bacteria isn't harmfull to humans , human bacteria is much more harmfull to humans.

It's all perspective anyways. If you had a spoon filled with maggots and dog shit , then another spoon perfectly clean except a few micrograms of anthrax. Technically the spoon with anthrax is "cleaner" yet you wont be dying from the dirty spoon.

He had food and water.. Was running around the house while I was working in my home office. I guess he likes baby poop.

It's because dogs are really smart and they know that there are more nutrients in a fresh load of crap than there is in normal food :thumbsup

I am laughing SO hard. Dogs are so stupid yet they get credit for being so smart. I saw a night show once where they trained rescue dogs and this dog went through some very complicated obstacle course to save a baby, grabbed the baby very gently, climbed over ladders, ropes, whatnot. came down some complex stairs to the master and at the very end just dropped the kid (obviously a doll) like a rag. Dog had no clue what the fuck he was doing, just obeying commands like a robot. Cats man. Cats is where it's at. You want a smart clean animal get a cat. He might not kiss your ass but won't eat your shit either :winkwink:

Check with your vet, he might be deficient in something in his diet. Some dogs who are low on iron or minerals will try to eat rocks. Plus if the food is not completely broken down/processed it still smells appetising to them....
