My grandfather was good friends with him and his family and used to go watch all his High School Football games. I never got to meet Jeff but have been rooting for him, plus a lot of my family lives or grew up in Gilroy and they all went to the same High School as Jeff.

he played on the 49ers. and a local radio station i listened to when i lived in the bay area always talked about him being in the closet. they'd play air clips of him talking during interviews and then pick out the words he pronounced the gayest. and replay it over and over on the air. it was hilarious.
