    New Home Office

    Well... finally have the new office carpeted, painted, and set up after the move.

    So now.. for the ole GFY... some pictures to compare my foot fetish, central command, to the Tony404, Jimmy Gunn, Robbie, da Zing, and the crew.

      Nice set up toots. But I'm noticing a few things missing that I find essential to my office.

      I don't see your diamond encrusted golden pimp cup.

      I don't see any champagne on ice.

      I don't see an automated cocaine dispenser.

      I don't see an autographed photo of Juicy D. Links.

      But other than that...it's a'ight

                  Office looks fine, but your cell phone camera can use some improvement, lol. It's not my personal taste in design or style, but if it works for you, congrats on the move!

                  PS- I could barely see it through the blur but who the hell still has Netscape Communicator on their desktop?

                      I thought about that. Just have not gotten around to it.

                      I still need to pick up a chest type of file cabinet to put behind me on that wall under shelf, also bring in my fax/printer/scanner from out in the hall and get that set back up (T1 will be installed later this week. Only have cable right now).

                      Then should be golden.

                          I barely use my cell. It's junk fo sho.

                          I need to add in some nice framed pictures for the walls in here to make it a bit more homey. I love my big ass desk. Lots of room for all my machines. Office is nice and spacous. So far, loving it.

                          HAHAHAHAHAHA I still use an old Netscape program... composer... for some stuff.

                                          Thanks mate.

                                          Looking forward to that as well. Working on 2nd BR upstairs. Hopefully can get it set up here in the next month or so. Running cabling, and internet and phone lines up there, also hardware, etc. Just picked up an 800 number today. Both for DVD store, among some other things I am working on.

                                                                  OK, here's my cluttered mess...We were gone over the weekend so it didn't get it's end of the week straightening out:

                                                                  The accounting computer on the left hand side of the desk. Wireless printer on the right, assorted lighting and cam equipment on the ground right hand side:

                                                                  A couple of shots of my work area. Dell T7400 64 bit Dual Intel X5482 Quad Core 3.20 gig cpu's and 16 gigs of Ram on the left. Next to it an Edirol editing deck. Then my 24 inch vid monitor with edirol audio monitors on either side. Looks crazy but I can work very fast with this set up:

I did but then we got the dogs and they spend most of the day downstairs and so I ended up moving a desk down there to be with them. Not as good as having my own room where I can shut the door.

                                                                                                                                  Yeah, I thought about that as well. I had tile work done on the landing, and kitchen. But we opted for some dark carpet, and to glue it down.

                                                                                                                                  My main complaint, or concern, is that with most carpet. The padding will get ripped to hell by your wheels on your office chair. Like used to happen at my old place. I did not want that to happen here.

                                                                                                                                  Once the padding gets bad, your chair leans, and then effects your arms and back. This is even WITH the carpet pad guard thing.

                                                                                                                                  The dark shows EVERYTHING, but it is just my office. The carpet type seems to be a good match so far.

Then I spider through to determine if the gallery is a movie gallery or a picture gallery. Then I scan the gallery and download a thumb for our "tooltip" feature on the mouseover on the main page listing of galleries.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Many servers won't allow another server to do those things. So we discovered that as long as we did it from a home ip address we could do those things. So the linux box sits all day checking and spidering as I cue up galleries for each evening, then at midnight eastern time all hell breaks loose on Grampland.Com, ShavedGoat.Com, Sex-Ahoy.Com, and FlopDonkeys.Com as each site updates and archives.
