I don't know if some of you are aware of this...but this bitch comes from a group of people that are called "travellers."

I saw a special on these people on one of the news magazines years back.

They are a of Irish descent...and usually live in town where they all carry only a small select group of surnames.

In other words everyone is name O'shannon and all the men are named Kelly etc..they are known to each other by their nick names in order to give the police a bit of trouble in locating one particular person.

They travell the country scamming elderly people with various construction/labor type scams.

It's hard to convict them because if someone does take it to the police they end up paying them off to drop the case...most people do it because they realize that's the only way they might get their life savings back.

This woman was also wanted in Mansfield, Texas for shoplifting which is a neighboring community of Fort Worth (where I am origially from). There is a large group of travellers that live in a section of Tarrant County (the county fort worth resides in) called White Settlement.

A few years back 3 boys were killed when their Pickup flipped over...come to find out not one of them was old enough to drive...ages range from 12-14 but they all had licenses...they were found to be travellers.

In the special I saw...they focused on a group of travellers in one of the Carolinas..don't recall which one.

Anyway...practices there involved arranged marriages for girls as young as 13 with some of the more proficient thieves who were of course all men.

They start their girls off young...on Fridays they dress them all up from infants to grannies all looking like little harlots and they have to parade around for the men in the town.

Just your nice family type behaviour.

Maybe this woman's constant troubles with the law will shed light on this group of people even more.

These people live across the river from me in South Carolina. You ever seen a 12 year old girl that looked like she was 30? These people are strange and on top of that they are all con artisits. They all marry each other at young ages 12 13 14 etc and they are all in the construction scam business. They bulid houses in thier area (I think it's called Murphy Village) and then live in tailers out behind them for a year so the spooks can get out. DId I mention the tin foil on the windows? Truly some weird people. :glugglug

Agreed... However, I think she got into trouble when she stopped to rest because she was tired from beating the child and after she recoverd, resumed beating the child. :2 cents:

I have many Irish friends I drink up a storm with them they are damn COOL! This beating up on a child is disgusting and she should be stoped. It gives a bad image of Irish people all over the world.:thumbsup

Did you see the tape? She beat the kid 20 or 30 times. The kid was four or something? I am not opposed to corporal punishment when it makes sense and when it's not just to vent the anger of the parent. She was just pissed at the kid and pissed for not being able to return something to the store (which she had probably shoplifted anyway, if she's a traveller) and was actually letting off steam by terrorizing her kid. (She probably was not hitting the kid all that hard because the kid turned out to be free of cuts and bruises.)

Maybe she was preparing for a role in a new movie?

I think you misunderstood me. While agree that corporal punishment is sometimes necessary this woman began beating her child... stopped and took a break and then resumed beating the child. I do not condone this type of action under any circumstances and totally disagree with her handling of her child. Sorry if I was not clear on this before. I was actually trying to be funny in my previous post though not very successfully.
