virtualdub help
I have been using virtualdub to split large avi files and everytime I do the first one is unplayable in windows media player but the second chunk plays just fine. This(http://www.geocities.com/jdivx2003/virtualdub.html) is the FAQ I have been following (Section "Splitting a DivX Avi so that it fits on 2 CDs:") - Does anybody know whats going on?

Do you only need to split the file? like 50min > 2x 25min?
If so then then you just Direct stream copy the area you want as file 1 and then then same for file 2, it's very easy. |
1. Use direct stream copy, mark your selection, save as. MUST work. I use this program every day.
2. No luck? Try "avichop". Its a 60k tool that works like a charm for chopping AVI files. Good luck. |
