Website to list cheating scamming sponsors

Alright. Since it seems this industry is falling into corruption. We need to take a stand. We need to start protecting our customers and our business.

What we need is a website that:
  • Lists types of scams
  • lists types of credit card fraud
  • has an "unsafe" list of sponsors and pay sites connected to fraud
  • has a "safe" list of sponsors and pay sites running their program legally/morally
  • has a complete reference of billing and payment processors connected to fraud
  • has a list of steps to help customers reverse the fraudulent charges
  • has a list of legal and business contacts for customers to file credit card fraud reports

This has to be done with good intent. No ref links, no bullshit. Just a simple site to inform people how to avoid scams and fraud. What sites to look out for, and what charges to be suspect of. How to help people get out if fraud has taken place. How to help people notify the right legal departments if fraud has taken place.

This could probably be done quick and easy using something as simple as a wordpress blog. This should be done by a trusted person in this industry. And someone who isn't going to be bought out or bullied into censoring important information.

* I'll offer a free design to anyone who creates this website.

Post up ideas, thoughts, or whatever. Should we get this started? Am I missing anything? Who would be a good candidate?

i'm ready to talk about such stuff on http://www.signbucksdaily.com/

I registered a domain called nocross.com and considered starting a site with unbiased info on which sponsors used cross-sales, and the tactics they used to get them.

I wouldn't have a problem with labeling sponsors as green (good), yellow (caution!) or red (bad) as long as unbiased non-drama was the basis for the labeling.

it could be a good thing to have! i mean if someone is continually fucking people over and other people know it, there should be some kind of warning preventing the next bystander from getting fucked too

mikesinner 12-05-2008 11:55 AM

There are way more scamming affiliates than there are scamming sponsors.

That would be a pretty good domain. :thumbsup

as soon as you mention their name and claim/insinuate they are cheating, they will shut you down. They can afford to hire legal advice in any country you are located.

P.S. I have xxxscam.com forsale :winkwink:

So by that logic, you're saying over 90% of affiliates are scammers

No, he isn't necessarily saying that. Think about it a little harder.

there's a "shitlist" on another adult webmaster forum already.. not sure if it has any impact though

fusionx 12-05-2008 03:02 PM

I'd much rather have a site that only lists trusted, clean, proven sponsors.

but the shitlist on the other board is rather short

Tjeezers 12-09-2008 07:09 AM

I have a good name free.
And if you make the design for me, i will make sure this website carries the lists you want. I even put them in myself.
ICQ 104030 and we get it rolling

And as soon they start legal fucking, they will be in for a hard time. Fuck scammers, let`s give them a piece of there own portion back.

fris 12-09-2008 10:08 AM

who said no, program owners?
