I go back to sleep if possible. (depends on how hard my dog has to go)

If it's a weekday: drag myself out of bed, make coffee, smoke a cigarette, nag the kid till she's dressed, fight with her over brushing her hair, send her off to school, get more coffee. I gauge the day's pain quotient, adjust my meds accordingly. Say hello to the husband when he comes in from work (graveyard shift as an x-ray tech at the hospital) let him grope me a bit before he goes to bed :Graucho , sit down at the computer to work on building my sites and worrying about how soon I can go live with them.

If it's a weekend: after 7am I sleep very lightly, listening to make sure the kid hasn't set the cats on fire/destroyed the apartment/hurt herself irreparably. If she needs something, I drag myself out of bed and make coffee while I'm up. I gauge the day's pain quotient, adjust my meds accordingly. Say hello to the husband, quick grope, smoke cigarettes, work, worry, etc. More coffee as needed.

first thing i do is check stats! :D

very first thing stats sometimes im half asleep when i check it and then go back to bed and then I wake up again and I cannot remember did I really check it or was that a dream that I checked it.

Am I the only one with this problem?

Ive been checking stats in my dreams for 5 + years now.. ya think itd stop but it dont.. I hate the ones where you have A really good day in your dream and u wake up and yer like sheeits, its summa time..

First thing I do is generally piss, though what I really want to do is get downstairs and check my email. Doing my morning webcomics and my email is how I start my day. Of course, email includes CCBill signups, so I guess its kindof like checking my stats.

Falls in there usually a while after first coffee but well before 3rd screw session.

up at 5am--quck leak, put some coffee on, do about 10 minutes of stretching,
100 situps,
50 pushups,

go out and run about 5 miles
back home another 10 minutes of low impact excersizes
then coffee and work....

Funny how people check stats first thing. I used to do this but once my signups started snowBALLIN' I got bored of it. Now I refer to my bank statements.
