I have no idea what would drive people to embed a cheesey MIDI file in a webpage.

VAN HALEN THE WAY THEY WERE INTENDED TO BE HEARD!!!

What pisses me of is when you have your earphones on, and listen to some great musis all turned up to max.. then you hit some page with a embedded midi or flash, screaming " ARE YOU READY FOR A GOOD TIME " at about 150db RIGHT into your ears.. the only thing you can hear the next 3 days is that long "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppp" inside your head. and then when you go to burgerking, and the dude ask you if you want Sprite or Cola, you answer "EXTRA KETCHUP" in a loud crackeling voice.... thats embarracing as hell :(
