allow me to help

the big ones are yahoo business directory and business.com, to get a hardlink on each one it cost $300/yr (although i know a guy who can get a yahoo one for $50;)
then there is DMOZ, which is impossible to get listed on
and there are few mid level ones that charge 20-50 a year, but i cant remember their names

in many cases, you are not buying the traffic but the PR from the directory, as the theory is google considers them good authority sites

im going to im you a resource for free directories, which is what im bet your looking for ;)
