So many good place in Vegas. Nobu is always good, but late night, I'm a big fan of Musashi and Fukuda (fresh, great prices).

Geisha House in Hollywood is very nice

Is that good? I could pretty much walk there (not that I would), but I always assumed it was more for the scene and wouldn't have good food. I don't mind a sceney place, but I require anything purporting to be good food to actually be, ya know, good.

Urasawa is the highest rated restaurant in all of LA on yelp.com. It comes out to like $500 a person.

Its a good place I ate there before. New York has a few good expensive sushi restaurants.

Hyakumi Sushi Bar in Northridge, CA is one of my favorites.

Saburo's Sushi House in Sellwood, OR is towards the top of my list as well.

Yup, Tojo's was one of the first, he is actually the creator of the California Roll (Tojo Roll). I had personal cooking lessons from him once, his stuff is truly the best.

He was mentioning that he does private catering to bands like Rolling stones when they are in town. Just don't expect to get a cheap meal, though its HIGHLY worth it.

The best way to enjoy his restaurant is to let him decide what you eat. If you request it, he'll make a custom meal for you, chosen and made by him. Usually its crazy ass shit that other restaurants don't even offer. Hes in the kitchen like 99% of the time,,

Agree with you...its more of a party hangout for stars. Sushi sucks there....

I second that. After eating sushi at many places in many states/countries... this is the best quality fish hands down.

not a sushi fan so spending like 500/each on it sounds aweful. good info and passed a few along to some friends. I'll take my steak at Morton's or R&C's though...

Sotohiro Kosugi owned Soto in Atlanta for years and moved to NYC a year or so ago. Been to both places and so far it's the best sushi my limited self has had.

Geisha House in Atlanta was more show, not go. I've had better from Publix. And the red toilet paper kinda freaks me out.

I don't go to many sushi restaurants, but I went to Hama Sushi in Marian Del Ray, and I enjoyed it.

Milwaukee area = Yokoso on Bluemound and hwy 18

Tsukiji Fish Market, Tokyo, Japan is the best place to eat Sushi.... fresh off the boat!

I hate how Sushi is so upper class and expensive in most the world... I guess I'm spoiled being from Vancouver where there are great quality places on every corner and you end up eating it for lunch or dinner every day...
