First of all, no one can dictate exactly what would happen in the world if the US had never come to be, however one thing is for certain, we would have still advanced. As much? More? Less? All possibilities because no one knows for certain which nations would have done what.

But there's always someone to step in and take charge. If it wasn't the US, someone else would have. Britain? Germany? Russia? China? Who knows.

But humans have a need for advancement, progression and that wouldn't have come to a halt just because there were no Americans.

All that aside, being a dominant marketplace doesn't make you automatically immune to criticism when you screw up. You could be the friggin pope but if you kill someone to get to a sale at Walmart, people are going to criticize. No matter what you've accomplished in the past.

If English is your primary language then it pains me to inform you that you functionally illiterate and need to take some remedial courses so you can at least write at a high school level. Today is basically a normal shopping day here in Canada although I did notice more sales than normal at our mall. No lines, no more people than there normally is. I did buy a few Christmas gifts but I am proud to say I paid cash :)
