looking for hosting... please help.
 

ok, I'm looking for the following features:

1gb or more disk space
100gb or more transfer
300+ POP3 email accts (more if possible)
0.50-1.00 overage
mySQL/PHP support (with GD libraries installed)

what makes it or breaks it for me is the GD libraries.

i'm used to virtual hosting, but shared hosting seems a lot more advantageous.
I got a question for you that may sound dumb... how do email accounts work with them? Do I have unlimited POP3 accounts? Is that setup automatically? Or do I have to setup myself? Same goes for Webmail.
Also, how much is overage? And how quick is their support?

I cant see any host not having GD support...

you'd be surprised... i've contacted many that don't.

As for PhatServer's support, I've just got my answer. I sent an email off to them and they replied in full in less than 5 mins. Wow. I'm really impressed.
