Here's the deal...

Years ago, I used to do galleries and run TGP's, and did VERY well at it. Lifestyle changed and I moved onto other things and set up the TGP's to run themselves in the background but ofcorse they didn't go anywhere.

Now 'other things' and this rotten economy have forced me back into trying to make money from the adult biz, but I've been trying everything I used to know for months and can't get ANYWHERE.

Everyone wants $75+ /month for gallery submissions (I imagine that's hard to make currently) And that's just from one site or a small network of sites. The TGP's, don't grow anymore.. have been mostly unsuccessful in rebuilding them to the type of traffic I used to be able to get.

It seems like the only two ways to make money now is bulk mailing and selling traffic from retarded tube sites.

tube sites are the future but if you don't have thousands to invest you are fucked.

Warez work for me.But no 100% surity that it will work for you too.And its not adultrelated but still like my own motivation move with the flow whatever pays the bills i suggest you do if you are good in adult do adult but like you now say i guess adult don't do good for you anymore well i suggest you do other things lots of ways to make money just use the one that makes the most for you or do like me and take all the litle moneymakers together and that becomes one great income.

Or set up a supplement business also relatively easy to do.And you have a substantial product you can sell.

Things have changed but the fundamentals stay the same: Target a niche and dominate it.

I can only speak from the point of view of someone who promotes cams and dating. I make more now than I ever did before. The biggest problem I have (touch wood) is trying to cram my workload into a working day; there's never enough time to do all that I want.

Tube sites are just another means to FEED niche demand. You don't have to have a tube, tgp, mgp, or a link list to feed demand of that niche. Blogs, forums, traditional sites, online magazines, etc, they all work just fine. The key is to go after a niche and dominate.

Thanks for the info, i've always been one to try to corner all niches. The problem I have these days the inability to generate traffic like i used to. It doesn't work the same.

Search engine traffic is the only clean source of traffic. Guy that get porn through SE's are generally porn illiterate. They don't know about tubes and porn forums as a rule.

Getting traffic any other way than through the search engines seems stupid to me.

Seriously though.. I don't know how you could start without the dough, unless you have the time to build your own network and SE traffic... which has always worked.

Find a sponsor with a good niche and free content/templates and submit daily.

Choose a revshare program

Building blog networks works fine for me, conversions are down the drain for months, but it's pretty much the "thro enough shit to the wall and some will stick" approach. Hosting is cheaper than for TGPs, you just need more domains and IPs. Posting is a pain, especially selfwritten posts on the flagship sites, but it's a nice steady traffic flow from the searchengines and most stuff is on autopilot.

I could stop for 3 months, return, and still cash in pretty much the same ammount each month. No worries when you are planning extended holidays.

Whatever you do, you have to do it on a much larger scale than a few years ago to be able to compete.

Amazing how you left out the partner accounts that you are using along with Chameleon....You're trying to make the dude think that you can buy it out the box and submit it to their general list....

SEO is very lucrative. I've been trying to do it for years. Sometimes I do good, other times not so much. But never have I done great. Additionally, to make changes to further optimize requires a lot of patience to wait for re-crawl/index. It also seems that if you do it too many times, your ranking goes down.


So... it's going to be full of shit that nobody wants to see and you can never find what you're really looking for?

Word... I've got a ton of galleries that have never seen the light of day in many diferent niches. Been waiting for someone to come along and submit them all through Chamelian which I tried using but can't figure out for the life of me. Any takers? Who needs easy money?

Whats wrong with you guys

Use the tubes that are stealing your traffic, use the forums that are posting your content, If they are making money from you guys then do it right back, Use youtube, use social media sites, use classified ads....There are so many ways to generate traffic without spending a penny if you really want to and if you cant get sales then sell links and advertising to get you going then spend the money you make on some google adwords or decent submits/plugs, links or whatever.. If you work hard enough it will come to you

But you have to be people-oriented.

I've never understood why TGPs work. Basically all you doing is saying "here's some pictures to look at click on the join link". With blogs you can include vast amount of text giving them a description that is good for SEO while limiting the amount of content you let them see.

Blogs are more like animal planet or the discovery channel.

I prefer blogs myself but nothing wrong with tgps imo.

I do not understand blogs for the porn biz. I used to write all kinds of stuff on my website but it just turns guys off. Tubes on the other hand scare alot but I got them on my site I got a tgp tube combo site because I like both! And doing one niche is a plus.:2 cents:

Most people aren't going to tell you what makes them money since it usually will just increase competition.

One thing that works well for me and many others is writing quality review sites and blogs about products and websites. Get these sites in the SE with unique content and tweak them some to get better listings. If you pre-sell your visitors with review sites, your sales ratios should increase.

Also, sell products with Tube traffic, not porn sites. Porn converts like crap, for me, on tubes, but products do well.

Any other advice would require a fee;)

That's pretty much it. The value of recommendation is higher than ever.

Because I make money from referring other webmasters which means less work for me and more money. I am the kind of guy that wont give up and because I am making money from porn I want to make a lot lot more. I havent by far got it all figured out and I am still learning and still have a lot to learn as this industry changes all the time, but what I said above is one way of generating traffic with out spending money because I have done it myself. All you seem to hear on GFY now is all negative about the porn biz and nothing realy positive. Hopfully some of the posts in this thread will help new webmasters out because I know how dam hard it is when you first start out.

ok dude why don't you expand a little more on how you're doing so good with the default chameleon database and no partner accounts (not even free PA's?)? thehun is in chameleon, the bulk of your traffic must be coming from there? I've heard chameleon should be tried for at least 6 months because of the backlog of many sites there, but I can only think of a handful of sites in the default database that will send any decent amount of traffic once they start listing you..

I've been using CS for the last 2.5 months and after about a couple weeks of using it I started getting free and paid PA's cause traffic was so low it was ridiculous. 2.5 months later, traffic from the default database is still nothing to write home about (not counting thehun that I disabled in CS and submit to by hand).

Better yet, why don't you tell us what your idea of 'doing fine' is? :pimp
