you should put up a wordpress auto blog and run milf.com feeds on it for content. You paid for 500 one way links and you never took advantage of them. If nothing else, you will get your ranks back in goog for the updating niche content. I know. I use the links on my auto blogs as well.

Holy shit I was wondering who got that domain.. It used to be the Moro Islamic Liberation Front website, which is a Islamics terrorist group in the Philippines. I noticed it was redirecting to porn a while back and wondered what was up and who got it.

Actually, MILF is a better defined niche and more targeted, so it may have a slight advantage. Searches are probably lower, but PPC value is probably higher.

The .net and .org extensions have comparable value, depending on use, of course. For example, hosting.net is worth more than hosting.org --and cancer.org is worth more than cancer.net.

If looking at Quantcast rankings, there's about twice as many .orgs than .nets ranked in it (aka sites with a decent amount of traffic).

Also, Porn.net by many regards undersold for that price, and the .com undersold for the price it sold for, so not a good comparison on sales prices.

DaddyHalbucks, as I'm sure you already know, recent one word .orgs have gone for 100K+ so this could make a fine auction name at traffic or domainaftermarket...

However, comparable sales are what they are. Actual sold properties that are comparable or similar are great indicators of value.

Rarely, if ever, do you get an "identical" or "perfect" comp. In residential real estate appraisal, you start with the sold property ("the comp") as the market value base. Then, you adjust the value of the subject property being appraised either up or down depending on its features/ qualities as compared with the comp.

I wasn't necessarily saying that - just saying stuff that people may not realize when evaluating this domain. And I wouldn't even go into anything about real estate appraisals vs. domain appraising...real estate is more established, has more established evaluation methods, and there's typically enough sales to use for comparables in most cases that properties that are short sold or aren't really representative of the value of the property being appraised wouldn't be used. With domains, the same domain could sell for $1,000 or $100,000 depending on timing, venue, who to, etc. If people always merely relied on other domain sales to evaluate domains, I have probably a dozen or so domains in which highly similar domains sold for thousands of dollars that I can't sell for $100...it simply can't always be relied upon.
