I read this

Never be tied to one location. Update your sites remotely from anywhere using your iPhone.

do you have an iphone designed site or the fact iphone has safari?

FreeHugeMovies 11-24-2008 01:05 PM

When you talk Facts... I get hardddddddddddddddddddddd

TMM_John 11-24-2008 01:19 PM

Although I feel I can back up every statement I made, you know how I do things and we always take the high road.

My intention is never to post things that are inflammatory so I just hit you on ICQ and will be happy to have the thread edited immediately if something I said is inaccurate.

AJ, does your system have built in affliate support or does it depends on 3rd party (NATS, MPA etc) ?

Jay

We don't offer affiliate support at this time but all cms powered members areas and tours are fully compatible with NATS, MPA3, all major billing companies and 3rd party password protection scripts. :thumbsup

Question;

Is the content fed from one members areas like most CMS', or do we have to pay
a fee to avoid being forced to put duplicate copies of content on the server for every domain we want to use a piece of content on?

I've heard there's no fee for this, and that there is.
What's the correct 411 please?

:pimp

MOxxx 11-24-2008 03:45 PM

I think PBucksJohn is right this time. Cheers!

AJ, it was good sitting with you on the panel the other day. I think we both did good and managed to explain a lot of good things to the attendees. :thumbsup

On the other side, some of your "facts" are indeed off and also a bit of a hit beneath the belt, and not just to Mansion. :winkwink:

Nice to see you and John finally agree on something :)

Thanks Oystein. I agree, the panel was good and several of the attendees told me they enjoyed it so I think it was a success.

I'll extend the same offer to you as I did to John. You guys are both welcome to contact me to talk and clarify things and if it turns out that something I said was inaccurate or untrue I will immediately have this thread edited to reflect that.

That's a good question. I'll try to answer this without getting too technical so hopefully it makes sense and it's not confusing.

The way our system works, there are 2 possible setups.

1) You can use 1 unique database and content folder per domain/site. If you use this setup, content cannot be shared between sites.

2) All Access Network Setup. This is the monster setup, the mother of all content sharing scenarios, the one all the big programs use.

With this setup you have 1 (often massive) database of all content which then gets served out to multiple front ends. This setup is a bit custom so it's something we do for an additional setup fee of $995.

The all access setup allows you to have a master/parent/hub site which lists all the updates for the network and then each sub-site lists only the niche specific content relative to that domain.

You can choose which sites to include as part of the network in case you want to market multiple sites with duplicate or similar content selections without your members seeing the duplicate sites.

When a member logs into the main site they see what's new and what's been added to each of the sub-sites and can also search the entire network, etc. The member can then click to go into a niche site and will only see the updates and top rated lists, etc. for that site and each sub-site can have its own design and use its own domain despite all the sites sharing 1 content database.

This allows a cash program to market an "all access pass" membership as well as promote each individual site since although they share the same content source, each site has its own domain and can still be treated as a separate site that's not part of the network.

So I guess the short answer is yes, there is a fee for this but we've taken content sharing to a whole other level.

The reason we opted for this and not just a simple content sharing method is that we need even the smallest Elevated X cms user to be able to scale easily if and when the time comes and their business grows in size.

I'm not a big fan of having someone cannibalize their own content pool unless they also have the ability to use it to build themselves a massive network in the process or at least have that option down the road.

I hope all of this made sense. Feel free to ICQ or call me if you have questions or want more info.

Our admin panel isn't specifically created for the iPhone, but works within Safari.

However, tasks that are common include things like photo batching, scheduling updates, editing news/diary entries, manual thumbnail cropping, etc. Here, we specifically did system updates and tested for the iPhone to make sure users could perform routine tasks as needed.

Your link in your news frame on your site needs to change the target to "_parent"...

I have installed Elevated X in several of my clients' websites, and I just love it. The code is very easy to implement, it comes with a bucketload of features, and it's simply great.
Highly Recommended!

Furious_Male 11-25-2008 07:20 PM

Very nice AJ. I am starting to wonder if you ever sleep.

AJHall 11-26-2008 11:31 AM

Sleep? Tell me more. What is this sleep thing you talk about?

Sleep is for the weak. Time is irrelevant. You eat when you get hungry, you sleep when you get tired. 4 am and 4 pm doesn't mean anything to me.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm tired and must REST.. (not sleep) for a little while.

AJHall 11-26-2008 02:28 PM

HAHA. Sadly I can't function without 8 hours of sleep but I'm lucky if it's restful sleep.

I have these bad dreams where Oystein and John Albright are giants and they're chasing me and trying to eat me.

NinjaSteve 11-26-2008 04:15 PM

Thanks for the demo. The admin area looks really slick and it's easy to navigate. :thumbsup

Yes, sooner than later. We'll have this functionality available sometime this month.

Andre 12-04-2008 05:42 PM

Great promo/offer. Folks should take advantage of this. I can say this because I have been a very happy customer for a while now.

Fact: Facts aren't always what they seem.

funny how 2 competitors come in and say the facts are wrong yet fail to say why...

NEWS FLASH - We now offer multi-language support
Great stuff AJ.

Sosa 12-10-2008 03:16 PM

Sounds like a great CMS

AJHall 12-18-2008 02:46 PM

Thanks Sosa. Most adult site owners and operaters are so used to settling that they don't know what they're missing or how good their sites could really be if they had better software.

It truly is an amazing product and we're happy to be able to offer special pricing as an incentive for people to get away from the less powerful or severely outdated CMS platforms that far too many sites are still using. :thumbsup

AJHall 12-22-2008 08:24 PM

Counting down...1 more week to get in on this deal :)

sigurman 01-06-2009 11:02 AM

Why you guys make this kind of promotions if you don't answer to the emails and ICQ?
I have tried to contact Elevated X staff and never got a reply... what's the deal?
