Are there any Toronto hotels with nice rooms , furniture etc for shooting content.

Except Soho...it's very nice but like $400



I found one in brampton Mississauga called montecarloinns.com/vaughansuites.html# its very nice too but really really small.

there is a great place - with different theme rooms - search for a GFY nickname 'opulence' - i know he shot there a number of times.

The Hilton has some theme suites. The Drake has some rooms with exposed brick and if you forget your props, room service delivers sex toys. Also check out The Cosmopolitan and Le Germain. Stage West in Mississauga is an all suites hotel and has jacuzzi suites for some bubble action.


I could swear there are some more hotels with theme rooms but I can't remember their names right now.

Avoid everything and anything on Kingston Rd. area. :1orglaugh

One time I'm on Kingston road driving by the Have - a - nap motel at brimley and I see my neighbours car parked in front of one of the rooms :1orglaugh

Same with Lakeshore Blvd. W, although it has cleaned up a bit in the pasr few years.

Royal York, Marriot, Raddison, The Hilton, Inter contential, Hyatt, Cambrige Suites. I am trying to remember all the hotels I have been to on outcalls that have a lot of room.

Hotel shoots suck so bad, try to network a little and find some better locations. I used to film in Toronto a lot back in the 90's and we used some hotels when we had no other options, but if you network a little you may find some better locations, like houses, condos or apartments, or even rent a studio space possibly.

My advice, hit up Montreal. People won't look at you weird when you bring a girl in ;)

Try craiglists for renting a condo s ome places renting out their condos for weekly rates or monthly rates.

Cambridge Suites hotel is across the street from my apartment and its supposed to be really nice.
