guys that trade FOREX
what time frame do you use and what indicators
also what software did you use to train with your demo account, I'm trying MetaTrader, the no shortcut for closing a trade puzzles me though, you know like selcet trade nad hit say F7 to close it, as it is I have to do at least 2 clicks to do that |
also what time frames do you watch, if you trade on the ONE hour do you have the 4 HOUR and 1 DAY ones opened too or something else?
|
bump. Can you still make money on this?
|
yah you can make money at this.
I used GFT before but am now using mt4. I watch the 15 min chart and watch trends on the 30, 60 min and 4 hour charts. If I enter a trade and have the room and growth is good, I'll move my stoploss up above my entry and remove the take profit and switch to the 30 min chart and let the trade ride. I don't like to carry trades overnight though. |

what site do you guys use?
|
metatrader... and right now i would follow trends and cost average down at the -50 pip and then -80 to -100 pip thereafter..
i only trade the usd/jpy right now, but normally trade eur/jpy gbp/jpy and usd/jpy.. this month has been pretty nice.. lots of nice up/down flows i use all time frames. 15 min 30 min 1hr 4hr and daily to establish trend patterns. i usually use 15 min chart to exit trades when i am in the money |
i also use trailing stops on all my trades set at 15 pips..
|
I watch the 15 min indicators and also always look at the weekly and monthly charts just to get a feel of what the pairs have been doing. For my real account I use fxcm.com and for the practice account I used forex.com
yep you can make money with forex but you can also loose it pretty quick |
