Do you burn candles while working?

I hadn't done it in a long time, but last week I bought a $19.99 (I know, very expensive) candle from Cinnabon and I'm burning it now in the office, and it smells sooo good!

Scott McD 11-19-2008 12:39 PM

Nah, i'd end up setting fire to the place.

Not a good idea...

czarina 11-19-2008 12:43 PM

I guess it depends on what type of work you do... if you run around setting up a photoset or are a stunt cock, then definitely not :P

pornguy 11-19-2008 12:43 PM

No. Cant stand that shit... Yuck.

PersianKitty 11-19-2008 12:49 PM

I work from home so, yeah..sometimes.

More recently I've been using candle warmers instead of burning though.

I also like the LED candles that are scented.

Kudles 11-19-2008 12:57 PM

No but I should

CIVMatt 11-19-2008 12:58 PM

Only when I'm making sweet sweet love on webcam

undersoul 11-19-2008 12:58 PM

Marky333 11-19-2008 01:05 PM

I burn candles only for Christmas I believe

tranza 11-19-2008 01:08 PM

Nope, never did it.

abadfish 11-19-2008 01:26 PM

I can't get myself to spend money on something I'm just going to burn away. I like candles though. Tough one. :/

I've actually purchased some of these and they're very good. So far my favorites are "Leather" and "Grandma's Cooking".

Scented LED candles?!? Whoah -- never heard of that. Going to have to look around for that.

stickyfingerz 11-19-2008 04:04 PM

ya sometimes. I have a little lamp thing that you put scented rocks and or fragrance oil on the top. Its adjustable with a dimmer. Bit safer than an open flame. I use some form of vanilla lately.

jmcb420 11-19-2008 04:47 PM

Both candles and incense.
This place is gonna smell like nagchampa forever.

papill0n 11-19-2008 06:05 PM

I do but not artificially scented ones.

CaptainHowdy 11-19-2008 06:51 PM

I used, now I try to burn candles doing something else...

d-null 11-19-2008 10:17 PM

I don't think it is a good idea to add indoor air pollution, why would you want to breathe something like that so unnecessarily?

bloggingseo 11-20-2008 01:26 AM

Always, at least 3 or 4!

PSSuperstars 11-20-2008 01:50 AM

I'm currently burning one Cinnabon in the front of the house.. and one cinnabon in the back.. house is 85 feet long, and the smell fills the whole house.. and they're soy, so I assume they're better than regular candles for "pollution"?

Yankee Candle has buy 2 get 2 free..
PERFECT gifts for ladies in your life, guys..

$12.49 for a large yankee candle is CHEAAAAAAAAAAAAP...

I wouldn't suggest getting it for your wife for a big gift..
but sisters, acquaitences, neighbors... or female affiliates, yes.

Living causes cancer.

I am pretty sure people would be OK with candles with EO scents, you could be taking a small risk with FO but really come on. There is so much other shit in peoples lives that have more pollutants and shit.

Corleone 11-20-2008 02:14 AM

never came to my mind to do that

Ron Bennett 11-20-2008 03:05 AM

No. And among the main reasons why, in addition to those others mentioned, I don't is they are a substantial safety hazard.

Thosands of fires are started by candles every year.

Best to avoid using them except very sparingly, such as for a romatic dinner, etc.

Ron
