I really dislike that statement. Perhaps if people began implanting chips into themselves or something then it would apply. In this context though I would reason that the practice and nearly everything about it was an ancient tradition that has gone back hundreds of years if not longer. People have always been wicked and done very foul shit that makes many others think they are savages or just straight up insane. Just because we now have a instant method for anyone to report news worldwide though does not in any means make these events something we are coming to. It is just reporting shit that has been going on for a long ass time. If anything, this sort of event brings light to the situation and the world itself very well could change the practice.

Well, I agree with you, I think definately that the world is getting better and better each day, the only difference is that each one of us grows and realizes more and more how horrible it still is sometimes.

But I think our grandparent had a much harder time than we do actually, and it get's worse and worse if you look back further. We're just Pussies that need to get used to it ;)
