I have been beating my poor husband to damn death this year to get my tree up. We bought a new one last year after Christmas when they put them all on sale and we didn't even et to see it, we just put it in storage.

I never got to even see it and I need to see it to make sure I like it..... THAT was my platform. lmao

So he told me "That fucker is heavy, if you can pick it up, you can put it up".

So I grabbed my 15 yr old son and off we go. He pulled it down for me and I picked that fucker up, bad back and all...... rotfl

I WIN..... my tree is UP!!

Thank you. that was one of the hardest fights I have fought here at home in a long time. Only took me like 2 WEEKS to talk my way into this one. I am losing my touch. :Oh crap

OH yeah. once they realized I could indeed pick it up, they took it and carried it in the house for me. I don't want anyone thinking they were about to let me carry that thing all that way with a bad back. :thumbsup

Yup, actually it did. it's 7 FT tall and it fit perfectly.. thanks for the concern. And yes I DO live in a trailer.

I am in the TAM zone.. I just got anxious to see it is all, no other real reason. It's one of those with the lights on them and I wanted to see how that damn thing operated. lol

Nah, it's a fake tree, I don't kill trees for Christmas, I prefer to plant them, not kill them. lmao

Been a tradition in my family and extended family all my life to put the Christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving. That day is usually shopping in the morning and all day long, and tree trimming at night.
I'm not so picky though. For me, whenever the heck I rearrange the living room is when I drag the tree up from the basement.

Do people just totally ignore the holiday that started this country*? Every year, christmas shit gets put out earlier and earlier, they totally bypassed thanksgiving stuff, went straight from halloween to christmas... next thing you know it, people will be putting christmas shit away, putting up new years stuff, then after the new year, putting christmas shit back up...
