Is Netscape users richer than Explorer users?:


Tour stats:
93.94% Microsoft Internet Explorer
5.25% Netscape


Members area stats:
55.39% Netscape
42.81% Microsoft Internet Explorer

How can this be explained?

Are those stats from uniques or page requests?

Could be that Netscape users leech more of your content, horny nerds they are.

Maybe its leaching software sending Netscape header info ??

Netsuck users are slow to change/cancel.

that does seem out of proportion. but if it's true, hey, keep it in mind. some of us don't use IE. :)

however, sadly, i have to admit it is probably more likely that you're getting hit with whole-site-downloaders that spoof as Netscape, or your software thinks they're Netscape for some reason. if that's whole site, it might be better to just look at the /members/ entry page's stats.

Someone told me that the New Netscape works fine and is fixed. Too Bad I'm a dedicated IE user.
Damn 5 years it took them to get it right. Thats horrible management, marketing well just everything. (Didn't AOL purchase Netscape?) Oh thats right thats why they got shittier!
