yo First timer here. trying with a little paste together site, and dropshipping. I want to see how this works out before taking the next step. Anybody got ideas on how to target traffic for this new site. indecent pleasure dot com. So far i have myspace account a facebook group and other ads. I want to get some people purchasing stuff. this is a great market and there has to be some potential. Any help is appreciated.

First of all welcome. Make sure to read the boards as there are tons of articles that will help guide you. Make sure you ask for advice when you need it. As I have read Myspace and Facebook don't convert too well. You will get a lot of traffic but it doesn't convert. Just ask around and do your research. Anywhichway, good luck!

Any ideas that you have could help me out at this point i am not getting very many hits and i want to establish some customers before making serious changes to the site just to see how things work out. If you know anyone who may need some video editing done also let me know, any work is appreciated.

One strategy may be a sort of viral marketing/word of mouth.

Throw a blog or forum up on your site and write product reviews, post funny stories about anal beads getting stuck and having to go to the emergency room, etc. That will help you with search engine rankings and it may get people coming back to check out what's new.

Blogs are much easier to get going than a forum, so that may be the way to go!
