Suggestions for billing solutions for products such as zip packs...

I am looking for a billing provider(s) that would work well for things such as "zip stores" and other downloadable content. I know a lot of sites that use CCBill offer zip packs outside of the standard members area, which is basically what I'm looking to offer, except I won't be offering a members area, at least not at this time.

Would CCBill still be a viable solution? Does anyone know of other providers that are geared or work well with downloadable content? I don't really want to go the "Clips4Sale" and "Images4Sale" route. And if at all possible I don't want customers to have to create accounts (but if they have to, offering a couple different options might work).

Do you think maybe ePassporte would be a good option? I realize that customers will have to create accounts (right?) but ePassporte is pretty well known, so they might be more comfortable creating an account. Or, is it difficult or within ePassportes functionality to offer downloadable content through them?

I dunno, I'm basically at a loss and a newb to the whole instantly downloadable content arena, but I really want to offer this option so any help would be GREATLY appreciated. :helpme

Thank you!

Yes they are. Contact them VIA their 1800 number on their site and ask them about it.

There is a token based solution that works with CCBill: http://phantomflicks.com/. I don't personally have any experience with it, but there are some on the board who have and from what I've heard it works well.

With ePassporte, you're probably looking at some custom programming to have it all work seamlessly.

Unfortunately, the major 3rd party processors (CCBill, Epoch, Verotel, etc) don't offer a true ecommerce solution. The ideal solution would be to have your own merchant account and gateway then use an open source ecommerce solution.

Nice, thank you for your input pornguy and georgiaasphalt. BTW, I have loved your design work for probably years now, GA, especially the Misha site, that is absolutely beautiful.
