Had a minor heart issue this morning
Whole deal clamy, left arm hurting, pain on chest. Puked. Don't even know why I am posting this on here not many that genuinely care about me. Emergency room visit and told it was a minor thing, due to diet and stress, but have appointment for full work up next week.
Life is short. :( |

Yes. It sucks when something like that happens, or you get into your 30's and mortality hits you. Before that, you were invisible, bullet proof, 10 feet tall, and you thought nothing of speeding down a dark road at 100 mph, jumping out of air planes, and threatening to fight the biggest mofo in the bar. Now, you start thinking nig. Welcome to the club. :2 cents: |

I know what you mean. Still there actually. However, good news. You will be neurotic for a spell, but then will learn balance young jedi. |

|
I'm glad you are ok .. heart stuff is scary and can really change your life style quick .. Please keep us up to date on how you are doing .. :)
|
smart that you didn't ignore it and went to the ER - i'm sure they did tests that ruled out a heart attack or you wouldn't have been released. so that's good.
those are classic heart attack symptoms - but of course stress/panic disorder can mimic practically anything. |

Now is the time to start making the changes that will effect you for the rest of your life. About a year ago in at Xbiz in Vegas it was just way too hot to drink booze the first night. I stuck to water, and the drunker everyone got the dumber everyone looked. I stayed sober the entire trip - mostly because of the weather - but it changed my life. I started to notice everyone's habit. A few months later I quit smoking. I had been smoking for twenty years; I quit for a month and everything was better - my breathing, how things taste, how I felt. I quickly started to gain weight and one night while hanging out with my best friend - who is forty pounds over weight and smokes two packs a day - and it hit me like a rock. I'm forty years old and it's time to start preparing my body for the rest of my life. I quit drinking, I quit smoking, started working out; I bike a mile each day and I run a mile each day. I figure in a few years I'll be in pretty good shape. Take care of yourself. It doesn't matter how old you are. Your body can only take so much abuse. |
You are stressed man. Take it easy and go do something fun. Take a vacation somewhere nice where all you do is sit on the beach.
|
Take a break, sounds like you need one. Hope you get feeling better. Try to Relaxxxxxxxxx

Hope everything would be allright mate ;)

Had similar symptoms last month due to a hard sneeze, but was no chest pain, just my arm hurt and went numb and got cold and clammy. They did a cardiogram or whatever its called when they hook you upto monitors for a while. See what they say next visit. |

I'm glad you're ok Ryan, very scary shit. Hoping it was an anxiety attack vs the other option. You need to find ways to reduce the stress immediately sweetheart. Walks, baths, yoga, reading, meditating..........whatever it takes that will work. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Death...
Don't knock it 'til you try it! :2 cents: |

Know exactly what you are going through to the 'T'. Make sure you stay hydrated. Relax. Do not stress over shit. If needed. Get some Xanex. |

good read

Yep.
Make sure you are sleeping. Even if you have to take a middle of the day nap. Make sure you are keeping hydrated. When you do not sleep well, you can get dehydrated. Make sure you are eating more than junk food, and keep up on your potassium! Xanex if needed for sleep, and stress. The rest just takes time and change of habits, and mindset bro. |
Live healthy this time. Life is short.
|
BTW My death comment was only meant to illistrate the futility of fearing somthing unknown.
It sounded a little mean when I read it back to myself. |
Ryan, relax, Obama won and the world isn't going to end. Don't be so stressed out about it.
On a serious note, I know a decent portion of whats been up with you and I feel for you. I've had my fair share of crap storms lately. Just got a complete total workup; blood, ecg, xrays... at the doctor less than a week ago and waiting on test results is driving me bonkers. |

I had a similar deal last year. Not as bad, but the chest pain, palpitations, and panic all came on.
The good news is that your heart is probably fine. You're young and the body is resilient. The bad news is that this was your body's way of warning you. By reading your posts, your diet alone is real unhealthy. It's putting a lot of stress on your body and heart. Drink Gatorade (will help with the electrolyte problem) and drink some Ensure if you can't handle food. I'd even recommend popping some fish oil for your heart too a few times a day. Slow down your daily routine and take a real vacation. Get away from the computer for a few days, it can do wonders. I'd also ask your doctor about medicine for dealing with your anxiety (which it seems is your primary problem). Xanax is a wonder drug and a lot of guys here take it. Just be careful not to get too addicted to it, just use it when you need a mental break. Your symptoms scream out anxiety and panic disorder. It happens to the best of us. Can be real scary but try not to let that burden you. Just take a step back from life for a little bit and relax. Making money doesn't mean shit if you aren't alive to spend it. Best of luck in your upcoming doctor visits. Hope all works out. |

But if you can't settle down, ask them to help. They'll put you on a valium drip or prescribe you a day's worth of anxiety meds. If not, get a hold of your regular doctor in the morning and ask if he can get you anything to calm you down till your appointment. |
Hopefully it's just a wakeup call to start eating/sleeping/excerising better. Just don't hit the snooze button! :) Get better...

Definately relax, eat right, lots of water, cut out crap like sodas for a couple weeks..
Then come down to Panama for a few days. I got coca and colombiana hookers waiting for ya! It's either total stress relief or death on a stick! Ill let ya know in a few more months :) Seriously, take it easy and relax! Life is too short to stress over every detail. Speaking of details, take care of the small things and the big problems will work themselves out. Don't sweat the petty stuff, just pet the sweaty stuff! |
Feel better man!

Sucks man, hope you are ok. I have been worried about myself too, I need to excersise more.
|
Feel better man...Heart probs are nothing to mess with.
|
glad to hear you are ok
I think about the heart often because I've seen friends that didn't even know they had a problem until they faint one day and get rushed to emergency... young people take invincibility for granted but it is actually amazing that any of us live with the fragility of all the processes in a body that keep it alive :2 cents: |

I had episodes like this in the past. At one point it was panic attacks, the next couple times it was a heart valve issue they diagnosed. I am now on meds for it, but its possible you could have mitral valve prolapse too, which they found during a stress test for me. Some call it a murmur but it can have similar symptoms when stressed. Treatable with meds.
|
Drink more water. At least eat some veggies or fruits even if you're not that hungry in the day man. It will make you feel better. Take a nap even if just for an hour or two during the day. Take care of yourself!
|
did they do a blood test on you?
