Anybody know wht I should do? Forbidden by ProxyPass error

A member of mine has a problem. Does anyone know who I should talk to or what I can do? (My host or My processor?) I pasted the email transactions that I have had with this member below.
Thanks for any all suggestions.

Hi Kit,

Thanks for your quick response. I guess I must fall into the 1 in a 100
category. I'm aware of the requirements for logging in. I have made
sure I'm not using all caps, I checked with iBill to make sure I was
using the correct login details (which you have now also confirmed),
I have copied and pasted the login and password directly from the
email from iBill (and now from your email) and I have even tried
all combinations of adding spaces at the biginning and/or end of my
username and/or password. Nothing works.

Since I sent the original email yesterday I have occasionally got a
different response to the standard 403 forbidden error. A couple of
times when trying in vain to login I got to an all white page with a
single line of unformatted text at the top which reads:

Forbidden by ProxyPass

I hope this is a clue as to what is happening. For info I have no proxy
settings set in my internet connection setup and do not have any
problems accessing any other sites or pages that I have tried, including
those behind similar security setups and ssl secure servers.

I have now successfully connected using a different ISP, unfortunately
I am unable to use this ISP for regular Web browsing. My regular ISP
is one of the biggest in Australia and I have no problems with any site
other than your's. I really hope there is a solution to this.

Thanks again.
Mark

Hey Mark,
Thanks for joining. Sorry to here that you had a problem logging in. I
tried and can login just fine with your account. When you get a 403
Forbidden error, 99 times out of a 100 you mistakenly typed the wrong
login and/or password. Please make sure your caps are not locked, (all
user names and passwords are case sensitive) and you are using the
correct account information.
Please reply with any further problems.

Hello,

Earlier today i purchased a 90 day membership to your site using a
credit card through iBill. The sign up process went without a hitch,
they took my money and emailed me a transaction receipt and a
username/password receipt containing the URL to the members
area.

When I go to this page I'm presented with a standard "Enter
username and password" dialogue box. When I enter the details
and click "OK" it appears that my details have been accepted but
all I get is a standard "HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden" error page that
tells me "You are not authorised to view this page".

The same thing happens if use the direct URL or click "login" from
your homepage
I have checked iBill's customer service section of their site and
confirmed that the transaction is valid and current. I have also got
confirmation on my username and password.

Can you please sort this out and let me know what's happening.

Thank you
Mark

might be sharing passwords or using them on different locations

Thanks Playa,
I tried a number of times and get in every time. If it is shared and locked than I would not be able to get in, right? It doesn?t make sense yet.

LOL.. Iam assuming your running ProxyPass (http://www.proxypass.com) . ProxyPass generates that error when there has been a security issue. It can either block the username/pass for 20 mins or it blocks the ip for 20 mins. The problem is not with his user/pass its with his ip. He is either coming through an anonymous proxy or is bursting or something. Go to your proxypass admin tool. If you dont have proxy pass then he is either trying to log into the wrong site or your server admin is not telling you he installed it.

Rory
:helpme

I dont have any affiliation with proxy pass, Im just a user.
