We're constant looking for traffic and have several places we currently buy traffic, but we haven't tried sex.com yet. Is it possiple to maintain a decent ROI with their traffic or is it a waste of money?

from our own extensive experience, I can say that sex.com is good.

I'm no newbie, but what does "ROI" mean?

I am having good luck with it and my budget is tighter than a virgins nerves at the prison rodeo!

how is that possible? ppc = pay per click - as I am understanding you make bid for how much you will pay for each click, so if it is expensive, maybe you are bidding too much per click? there is no reason to be number one on a list if you are only being charged for the times someone is clicking on your link

The traffic is quality. My ratio at one point was 1:150 from my page. But you better have cash to spend and put your best closer up (in the right sextion/keywords). Also, swap out your pages once in a while. I've seen so many people come in and blow a shitload in a few days beacuse they don't know what the fuck they're doing and give up.

no but i mean there are high bids already so if you want good traffic you bid more.

but the traffic is very qualitive (or however you spell it) so its worth it. thats what i mean.

I have done both PPC and banner advertising with sex.com and those guys drive fucking traffic! 8,000 468x60 banners click in a matter of a few days. They have high quality traffic and the sales people (at least Brian) rock and are very helpful!! I am getting ready to do another banner campaign with them (double the size) so we will see how it works out.

I would recommend them for both PPC & banner advertising.

I have to agree with everything in this post. MattB does wonders, they are currently the ONLY company I have used that has not ripped me off and actually done what I needed them to do. I use banner advertising and PPC.

I have nothing but good things to say about them.

thanks for the props folks. we are working our asses off to get this traffic thing down for adult webmasters. we are really trying to do more for you with this domain than just sit on a banner farm with a bunch of cpa deals looming heavy... but there's still much to be done =)

we now filter by language and ip - sending traffic to more than 60 international sites so all your hits come from places you convert.

If you want to save money, you may want to try findwhat.com or other smaller PPC engines that don't normally work with adult sites to send them traffic. Overture is good too for newbie traffic but kinda pricey. I used findwhat to build part of my ebony email lists.

The traffic is good apparently, but you really need alot of it to get anything back...
I spent $200US myself without even one sale when I tried them, but a mate of mine does get 1 or 2 sales for every $100 he spends...

i find it really depends on the site and who you are competing against. i have one site i push there where i'm 3:315...but that's over the last 6 weeks of traffic LOL - great ratio but very low traffic numbers.

with a lot of trial and error i have a couple of campaigns that make a money every month, but it took a lot of time to get it running good.

heard mixed things about it I just say test it:D

sex.com traffic is doing really well for me but there are not a lot of clicks they can send out to you :thumbsup

I recently set up an account with them and currently have my ads on suspend until my new site goes live - within 24 hours - I spoke to Mel on ICQ and he seems like a really helpful guy. I have about $300 on the account to test it out first, I'll post the results up in here :glugglug

It didn't work for us. Even though they have very very few gay sites listed we didn't get signups from sex.com ... No idea about str8 traffic.

I use sex.com everyday.
