Once a year I get the ice at the staples center and i just invite the kids from some of the local hockey teams that my friends coach and it really makes the year worthwhile. Seeing them try to hop over the boards is classic. Heres a few pics...

nice gesture for sure, but aren't kids that play on hockey teams in LA generally from wealthy families already? I know it is unreal expensive to play hockey nowadays, even the sticks (which are breakable) are ridiculous prices compared to when we were growing up.

Definitely not all wealthy, and believe it or not there is alot of donations to buy kids gear, ice time, etc. And also once a year i buy 50 tickets and they are given to the families that cant afford to take the kids, and the KIngs chip in for 2 hot dogs and a soda for each ticket.

At no time when dealing with Kids does my biz come intyo play at ALL. Never even brought up. And whats wrong with me taking some of the money i make and putting smiles on kids faces.

Very true... But! I doubt "these" kids' parents are. Don't get me wrong, I think what you are doing is a good thing, but tell any one of those kids' parents what you do for a living and where you posted photos of their kid's there might be a drastic difference of opinion.

Not true at all, everyone knows what i do for a living and no one has any problem with it. Maybe if some of you people look at the good side of things instead of taking something good and stirring up trouble with it, would be a better place.
