How are you going to prepare it? Taking it to a processor or doing everything your self?

brand0n 11-14-2008 09:51 PM

those does?

After Shock Media 11-14-2008 09:52 PM

Why would it upset tree huggers. Most I know are more than OK with using what you kill. They also understand that maintaining certain levels via hunting helps keep the balance in nature and the forest.

Plus you did not kill any tree's right? Looks you may have actually saved some that those deer would of eaten.

BlackCrayon 11-14-2008 10:01 PM

No blood for oil man!! Finger of shame! SHAMMMMEE!!!

DirtyDanza 11-14-2008 10:04 PM

Spunky 11-14-2008 10:07 PM

Eat and be merry. I'm a animal lover and also eat meat.I love meat just the inhumane killing of it.
Slaughter houses aren't fun to visit

I try to hug trees, but they always reject me.

yah for sure, makes for good spaghetti sauce also. (especially now that i am on a low cholesterol diet)

i will get the filet's off both and get the 1 cubed and hamburger and the other i'll leave whole hams and shoulders

evildick 11-15-2008 10:12 AM

I like deer meat but I hate having to clean them. Especially if one of your buddies fucks up and does a gut shot.

They are a stinky animal.

mrwilson 11-15-2008 10:34 AM

Good catch mate.
I've not been out shooting in a while now!

biskoppen 11-15-2008 10:42 AM

I am a "tree hugger" and I find this very ok... this is animals who lived all their life in freedom, not as a cow in McDonalds factory which never saw the life of day and never was able to move more than a few inches to each site..

On the other hand, those who shoots a bear and an elephant just for the fun/sport of it I wouldn't hesisate to shoot point blank in the neck at ANY TIME.. and my pulse wouldn't increase a single point

Wow, that's a lot.

Same rule for non-residents such as yourself?

Furious_Male 11-15-2008 12:11 PM

10 does wow. Out here guys are going to "lotteries" for more then one doe permit. On top of that each permit has a very restricted area.

Nice job. I have my first third of a doe coming from my buddys fathers 1 shot kill during bow season.

mikesouth 11-15-2008 12:16 PM

theres a severe overpopulation of deer problem here in GA I remember back when you were allowed only bucks (2) the 3 days a year you would be allowed 1 doe for the season. It has steadily increased to keep populations under control. I used to Deer hunt a lot, dont anymore I never really liked anything but deer liver and ended up giving most of the rest away.

I have a healthy respect for hunters though, it isnt as easy as people think is it BV

Sly 11-15-2008 12:19 PM

I still have a freezer full of deer products from last season. :-)

Rorschach 11-15-2008 01:04 PM

I really am impressed with your ability to kill those vicious animals, armed only with your high powered rifle.

deer really are vicious.... When there's too many deer you end up wiht more car accidents involving them and so killing the overpopulation will even save HUMAN life

Because people are too cheap to put up fences in areas with lots of deers.. inmates should be doing that

Because fences would control the population right? :uhoh

pornguy 11-15-2008 03:58 PM

Sorry But im not impressed.

What did you use to get them close.. Doe piss?? Yeah thats one trick to the non deer hunters. that and Sweet feed. Usually covered in Molasses.

Want to really impress someone. Park the truck, grab a bowie knife and TRACK them. Then you have the right to brag.

Mr. Matthews knows how to make someone look like a retard very quickly :1orglaugh

Peaches 11-15-2008 04:10 PM

GA allows non residents to get licenses.

When you see deer starving (especially with this drought) you truly appreciate the need for higher limits. Every hunter I know eats or gives away everything he kills if edible. Many donate the food to food banks.

I have several steaks in the freezer a friend dropped off last week :)

I don't hunt because I talk too much and the hunters usually end up wanting to shoot ME.

yes the quota is the same for resident and non resident licenses, the only difference is he price of the license

also, if you don't want to kill any of the bucks you see, you can kill does in place of them and take 12 does all together

but really it's not going to ever be a problem for me, my gf has a 600 acre farm here, so if i need more tags i can get them

Adam_M 11-15-2008 08:51 PM

Those two will be enough meat for a few months.

tony286 11-15-2008 08:56 PM

never developed a taste for deer

PostWhore 11-15-2008 11:39 PM

MoreMagic 11-15-2008 11:57 PM

I only use this method.. Hell I also once killed a bear when I was only three.. I also resent the fact you are calling my knife a "Bowie" knife. His knife was for little girls.
